Welcome to the Lofts @ 1234,

Philadelphia’s coolest loft condominium project. The Lofts@1234 consist of 17 unique loft condominiums (we promise that no two units are the same), with indoor parking, that are situated in the heart of Philadelphia’s “Loft District.” There are only four units remaining, one on the second floor and three Penthouses. Pricing is from $370 - $700k, and the Penthouses are all over 2,000 square feet and have 20 foot ceilings that are full of skylights!

The address of the building is 1234 Hamilton (map). The building is a converted three-story warehouse and used to be the home of Ottens Flavors, where in years past neighbors could enjoy the smell of such sweet delights as butterscotch and chocolate. The location is ideal for the hip urban dweller as it’s just a few minutes walk to City Hall and also adjacent to Broad Street subway line, the Philadelphia Inquirer the Board of Education and Chinatown.

Whereas some developers like to build condos and call them “Lofts,” we are building and selling true lofts; which begs the question: what is a loft? Here are some of our ideas:

  • Spacious: Our units have floor plans of up to 2,600 square feet and ceiling heights of up to 25 feet.

  • Open: As much as possible, we like to allow our buyers to decide how to use their space. Thus, we try to not create enclosures nor do we do other things that limit a buyer’s ability to shape her/his own space.

  • Mezzanines: Where the ceiling heights allow, we build mezzanines up to the allowable 1/3 of the floor space. These mezzanines are in fact one of the signature characteristics of a true loft.

  • Raw Space: As much as possible, we have tried to preserve and in fact restore the original look and feel of this beautiful building. What this means is that we have exposed the original brick walls, concrete ceilings, pillars and floors. We feel that this gives our building a very desirable look that is industrial, yet contemporary.
